1. What BloodWave is
BloodWave helps people in need of blood connect with nearby donors. Donors can register and volunteer for requests. Seekers can post blood requests. Matching and notifications are location-driven. BloodWave is a facilitation tool — not a medical provider, blood bank, or emergency service.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to use the Service in your jurisdiction and provide accurate information. If you register as a donor, you are responsible for ensuring you meet applicable eligibility guidelines for donation as advised by healthcare professionals or donation centers.
3. Accounts and accurate information
You agree to keep your account details accurate (including blood group and contact information) and to use the Service only for lawful, life-supporting purposes. Misrepresentation, spam, harassment, or fraudulent requests are prohibited.
4. Location and notifications
Certain features require location and notification permissions. You control these permissions on your device. You understand that nearby matching depends on the accuracy of location data and user availability.
5. Your responsibilities
- Use BloodWave respectfully and only for genuine blood needs.
- Coordinate donation safely through appropriate medical channels when required.
- Do not rely on BloodWave as a substitute for calling emergency services.
- Do not misuse personal information obtained through the Service.
6. No medical advice
Content and matches on BloodWave do not constitute medical advice. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals and follow hospital or blood bank procedures.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, successful matches, donor response, or outcomes of any request.
8. Intellectual property
BloodWave branding, design, and software are owned by Blood Wave or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service except as allowed by law.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using BloodWave and request account deletion at any time via our Account Deletion page.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blood Wave and BloodWave are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for outcomes related to blood donation coordination between users. The Service is provided “as is.”
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date on this page will reflect revisions.
