• Usage and technical data — app interactions, crash logs, and basic diagnostics to keep the Service reliable and secure.

• Provide location-driven matching between donors and seekers.
• Notify nearby donors when a blood request is posted close to them.
• Enable volunteering, coordination, and request management.
• Communicate support responses and important Service updates.
• Improve safety, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Location and notifications

BloodWave is designed around nearby help. Location access is used to surface relevant requests and donors. You can control location and notification permissions in your device settings. If you disable them, some features (such as nearby matching or push alerts) may not work as intended.

4. Sharing of information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service — for example, showing relevant request details to nearby donors who may volunteer, or using trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, analytics, messaging) under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We retain account and activity data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request account deletion as described in our Account Deletion page.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use the Service carefully and keep your device secure.

7. Children’s privacy

BloodWave is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
